REAL GOLD – Professional coating systems
Coating using HFP – High – frequency – impulse procedure
Real Gold uses its own innovative standard also for the mobile gold coating technology. Using ( HFP )– High – frequency – impulse procedure, integrated in all our coating systems. The technology has the advantage of spreading the gold faster and more durable on a surface.
The HFP advantage
Comprehensive studies have indicated, that the quality of the gold coat, obtained by using the HFP-Systems proved to be much better compared to the conventional resistance DC (Diamond Coating). The HFP-method uses current impulses of higher frequency only for short time. This method improves the coating quality, the layer becomes more uniform.
The coating time is considerably shortened.
The HFP fights porosity and therefore increases the coating surface, but the required gold quantity remains the same, thus the you cut costs.
The HFP coating is far better than the DC (Diamond Coating) procedure as the coating particles are finer, smaller, and more compact and have a reduced porosity. The coating procedure can be better monitored and it is limited to lower frequencies (200 Hz).
Thus you avoid the so-called„double layer effect“. If the frequency gets higher, the efficiency degree of the electrode would be similar to the DC (Diamond Coating) – the HFP coating procedure looses its advantages.
That’s why the scientists did not pay much attention to the coating at higher frequencies. A coating at 200 Hz. Improves the properties of the coated layer.
The studies and researches focus their attention on both procedures:
-the electroplating coating (with lower – frequency-impulse and high-frequency-impulse) of the copper (Cu) from CuSo4 – H2SO4 solutions in which an electrode having the form of a disc is rotating.
The pictures or the patterns and SEM-measurements of the microcomposition and also the strength of the coating pattern serve to the assessment of the DC (Diamond Coating) procedure.
The current acts as a „direct“ impulse or as an „opposite“ impulse, both modalities being possibilities of coating. The electrode potential and the current are surveyed using a digital oscilloscope. A mathematical model includes the diffused and migrating transport , kinetic electrodes, homogeneous reactions, the development of a double layer helped to explain the effect of the electrodes.
Earlier coating models have the coating in two layers, so that, for receiving a methodic formula from that, so that the DCL (Diamond Coating Layer) is dependant on the electrode potential and on the electrolytic concentration on the surface of the electrode.
This functions according to the theory of Govy-Chapman; the surface of the electrodes depends on the Faraday current density. The total density is valid for the reaction of the electrodes.
